Championship 27 hole semi-private golf course
GENERAL INFORMATION
The New Richmond Golf Club is a 27 hole semi-private golf course located 30 miles northeast of the Twin Cities. The club had a small irons-only driving range and a small practice green. In early 2006, Herfort Norby developed a concept plan to use 12 acres owned by the club to develop a new practice facility incorporating a 8,000 sq. ft. putting green, a new chipping green with practice bunker and a 33 station practice range. The practice range has an additional covered stall for teaching during inclement weather and storage.
PROJECT PROFILE
Herfort Norby’s responsibilities included the design and management of all aspects of the project including mass grading and shaping of the practice facilities, irrigation, solicitation of bids and contract administration. During the first full month of operation, the new range generated total revenues which exceeded the entire season’s revenue from the prior irons-only range.
