PROJECT PROFILE

Golden Valley Country Club was established in 1914. The course was originally designed by Thomas Bendelow and opened for play in 1916. Ten years later, A.W. Tillinghast redesigned the course and, other than a bunker renovation in 2009 and some minor drainage improvements, the routing is essentially as it was designed by “Tilly”.

in 2019, the Club hired Norby Golf Design to redesign the driving range and provide guidance on other improvements. Recommendations included repositioning and re-orienting the driving range, constructing a new expanded short-game area and constructing a new himalayas-style putting green.
